Feedback from the client who MELTs hand and foot: 

My foot feels so much better. Is it possible it could also be helping with my breathing?? I have COPD and have had trouble for the last three years. In the last two days I've been able to draw deeper breaths and to sustain notes longer when singing. The only thing that has changed is MELTing.

 

(a couple of weeks later)

I got lazy and didn't melt for a couple weeks and noticed the difference. It's more than singing: I have COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) which means I can rarely draw a full breath. So, it improves my day-to-day quality of life too.

I love MELT Method !

Flight from Calgary to Tokyo was about 10 hr but my family lives very far from major airport. If I did not MELT hand and foot, I could not servive 20-hr travel time (door to door).

 

 


写真:里帰りした時に機中でメルト! 2年前のことですが、、、(笑)

バンクーバー&成田間のフライト時間は10時間程ですが、

前後の移動&待ち時間を足すと、、

自宅から実家(?)までの移動時間は20時間近く!

それも重いスーツケースを持っての移動。

でも、搭乗前に足をメルト。機内で座ったままで手をメルト(写真)

因みに、glideテクニックは両足で手を挟んですると

腕、肩の力が抜けて出来るのでオススメです。

ついでに内腿の引き締めにもなるかも〜(笑)

そして、ギャレーで足のメルト。

お陰で疲れはどこへ???

海外添乗員時代(20代の頃)にメルトがあれば

快適に機内を過ごせたのにー!(笑)

家族や近しい友達には個人的にメルトを紹介してますが

まだ日本には未上陸のメルト、興味のある方は

スカイプセッションいたしますよ〜。

one of my clients sent me an amazing pic.  

She said she pinched her hand (by the door!?)... after icing etc.. 

she was curious what MELT can do.  So she MELTed her injured hand.





within 10 minutes after MELTed hand, swell was gone!

Amazing!

But as I am MELT instructor, I reminded her  the golden rule of MELT.

"Less is More"   "Indirect to Direct".

MELT is not for acute injury but if you do mindfully, sure MELT can help your body's natural healing process.
 

NeuroStrength is Amazing

My daughter did  NeuroStrength move to stablize shoulder girlde.

See below picture and can you see which side she did?    It's so amazing because she only did one NS move for a couple of minutes.  That's it!

MELT NeuroStrength Level1のトレーニング終了しました。

目から鱗というか、結合組織の叡智は凄い!の一言。

前のトレーニングで結合組織の潤い不足では筋肉が効率よく働かないのは理解できましたが

痛みや怪我も含め、ある動作が困難なとき、別の筋や動作で補う代償動作が行われるということまで

は気づきませんでした。

NeuroStrengthは本来の動きに戻す為のテクニックなのです!

代償動作を本来の正しい経路に導くというテクニック、胸帯/肩帯、コア、骨盤帯

の安定させるエクササイズを学びました。

動きはシンプル。でも簡単にはいきません。本来の正しい経路に導かなければ

反対に代償動作の経路を強化してしまうことになりますから(笑)

早速娘に肩帯の安定のエクサを試してもらいました。

簡単な動きを3分位しただけです。片方だけ終えたところで写真を撮りました。

どっちの肩をしたかわかりますか〜?

It was amazing week learning "MELT NeuroStrength" from Sue Hitzmann, the creator of MELT Method®!

We learned Reintegration and Repattern. Now we have 6 R's. ;) So cool and powerful!

You don't have to be advanced MELTers. It's not difficult, however, you definitely need to know a couple of moves which are not shown in the book before moving on to NeuroStrength. And some of moves are not recommended without Instructors guide.

MELT NeuroStrength (Reintegrate and Repattern) is to restore the neurological pathways and the natural timing of the motor response needed for stability during movement. NeuroStrength Technique simulates highly specialized hands-on therapeutic techniques that are used to Reintegrate optimal joint motion, erase compensatory patterns, and help people live pain free. It is not about the muscles, it's about restoring proper pathways and mechanisms to yield optimal function and performance. This technique is great for advanced MELTers as add-on! 

Not advanced MELTers yet? You can start now to learn intermediate / advanced moves and maps which are not shown in the book only from Certified MELT Instructor!


 

MELT NeuroStrength (next level)

I am so excited to share the news that I am moving to next level of MELT skills, called "NeuroStrength" in January 2015!

Class to be offered in February or March 2015!

NeuroStrength will be suitable for advanced MELTers.

You are not advanced MELTers yet? 

There so many moves and maps which are available only from Certified MELT Instructor. 

Quite few yoga Instructors, fitness instructors, dancers, even doctors or therapists such as chiropractor, physiotherapist  teach MELT.  

Yes, MELT is easy to learn from book but so many wrong way to learn, too.

Please be sure that you learn from CERTIFIED MELT INSTRUCTOR!

来年1月NeuroStrengthのトレーニングを受けます。

メルトブックやインストラクターから学べるアドバンステクニックよりもさらなるパワーのクラスになること間違いなし! 2月、3月を目処にクラスを開催する予定です。お楽しみに!

Until further notice, I only offer private service or MELT party (small group) at your place or at your work.
